Two weeks of empowering outdoor character building adventures. Sessions are Monday through Thursday over a two week period.
Each day we meet at Base Camp - 503 Communipaw Ave, Jersey City - at 8:30am and end around 3:00 pm depending on that day's trip. Trips include hiking, camping, and rappelling! Breakfast and lunch is provided for all youth. Every activity and trip incorporates our E.T.H.I.C.A.L. values (empathy, teamwork, health, inclusivity, community, conquering adversity, and leadership). Each day includes reflection that emphasizes self-awareness, social awareness, relationship skills, responsible decision making and personal growth. The session culminates with a three day backpacking trip in the Catskill mountains. Youth unplug and bond while working together to build the campsite.
All equipment needed is provided and no experience is needed. Each session includes only 12 youth so register today! (registration opens March 6th 2024)
SESSION ONE: July 8 - 11 and July 15 - 18, 2024 (ages 12 - 15)
SESSION TWO: July 22 - 25 and July 29 - Aug. 1, 2024 (ages 15 - 18)
Registration Costs:
$915 - Full Tuition
$475 - Half Scholarship (for household incomes under $100,000)
$55 - Full Scholarship + $50 Refundable Deposit* (for household incomes under $77,000)
*For full scholarship participants a $50 deposit is due by June 1st. This deposit is refundable after the competition of the program given perfect attendance by the participant.
