Overview:

Our newest program is an immersive summer photo camp that offers youth a transformative creative experience that blends technical skill-building with real-world exploration. Over the course of five days youth learn the fundamentals of professional photography with an experienced instructor. All equipment is provided and no experience is needed.

Funding for this program was made possible through the Jersey City Department of Health & Human Services, NJ State 2026 Opioid Settlement Grant.

About the Adventure:

• Five days of photography lessons and empowering outdoor adventures.

• Sessions are Monday through Friday over a one week period.

• Each day we meet at Base Camp (503 Communipaw Ave. Jersey City) at 9:00 a.m. and end around 3:00 p.m.  

• Trips include city walks, transportation to different parks in the state,  special guests, and much more!

• All gear, cameras and computers are provided.

• Breakfast and lunch are provided for all youth.

• At the end of the week, students receive physical prints and an album that highlights their best work.

• Youth will be able to develop a creative eye and look to their surrounding in an artistic and thoughtful manner.

Ages: 12-16

Each session includes only 13 youth so register today!

Registration:

$350 - Full Tuition (for household incomes over $115,000)
$175 - Half Scholarship (for household incomes under $115,000)
$55 - Full Scholarship (for household incomes under $85,000)

There are a limited number of scholarships available. For scholarships you will be required to provide proof of income and dependents.

Payment Policy:

• Tuition can be refunded within 14 days (2 weeks) of registration.

• After the 14-day period, the payment becomes non-refundable.

• If a participant is unable to attend the program for any reason after this period, the payment will be forfeited.
