Photography is about storytelling and self-expression, and kids are natural storytellers. I also love showing them how to turn their imagination into images.

I get to learn right along with the kids. We do special programming all the time - yoga and mindfulness, mycology, plant identification, history… I'm an experienced hiker, but I never leave a TW hike without some new piece of knowledge.

Why I Love This Work:
I enjoy the work that I do because not only are we introducing youth to nature and the wonderful things that it offers but we’re also creating bonds and making friendships that people will remember for their lifetimes. Also, setting a precedent to preserve nature all around us.
