Stephanie Silva was born and raised in Jersey City, where she now serves as Programming Director at Team Wilderness. With over eight years of experience in outdoor and STEM education, Stephanie has dedicated her career to creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that connect young people to nature and each other. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science from Rutgers University, along with a minor in Science Learning.

Stephanie is deeply passionate about expanding access to the outdoors for youth, particularly in urban communities. Through her work, she designs and leads programs that remove barriers to participation, empower young people, and foster a lifelong connection to the natural world.
